To avoid rumours spread via social media app WhatsApp groups during tension in the Valley, the Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to make license compulsory to create a WhatsApp news group. This move comes a few days after mobile internet services were suspended for three days in Kashmir after 5 people were killed in the Handwara protest.
